As a retired school teacher with twenty-one (21) years of award winning teaching and mentoring experience in McKinney and the surrounding school districts, Melissa Blume is all about the details. A nurturing and caring real estate agent, she is a good listener, a problem solver, and an exceptional translator of your needs into a satisfactory home buying or selling experience. She is a Texas native and has lived in the McKinney area for over 17 years and Dallas for 30 years. Her formal education includes a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of North Texas and an Early Childhood Certification from the University of Texas at Dallas. Melissa enjoys needle point, painting, cooking, and family gatherings.

Both Ron and Melissa earned the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) symbol as the mark of a real estate professional who has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services by securing a strong educational foundation.
In summary, we take a different approach to real estate, one that is built on personal touches, win-win deals, and a genuine interest in achieving positive results for our clients. Together Ron and Melissa have 4 grown children and 11 grandchildren, a dog and a sweet cat. Ron and Melissa live in McKinney, TX.

After retiring as Vice President of Professional Services at DYONYX, LP, an IT and Managed Services Company, Ron joined the Blume Team. Ron brings a wealth of business and technical experience to the team. Ron is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Washington University and a Master’s of Business Administration degree (finance major) from the University of Missouri. He enjoys amateur radio, woodworking, and family gatherings.
Ron’s mission for the Blume Team is to complement the team with his unique technical skills, finance experience, understanding of construction and engineering, and business talents in contract administration, problem resolution, and negotiations.
